Rowdy Sargent
My name is Rowdy Sargent. I graduated from UW in June 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication. Just before graduation I started working for UW Medicine as a Web Content Manager and through UW Medicine I have gained access to efforts, like this one, that promote good health.
I have had two close friends and one family member affected by prostate cancer so this effort is particularly close to home for me. I am participating in Movember to bring awareness to men’s cancers and to encourage men to get their yearly exams and screenings.
